Close crop of the left harbour wall and violet water, without the lone figure.

A second crop of original shared programme artwork; not a production still.

The story

A harbour wall, a stairwell, an empty playing field. This imagined essay follows six ordinary places through the hour when daylight gives way to artificial light. No narrator tells us what to look for. Windows brighten, sounds travel further, and a familiar street briefly becomes unfamiliar. The sequence asks how much a place can change while almost nothing happens.

Why it is here

A shorter, dialogue-free point of entry. The shared harbour artwork is a programme illustration, not a claim that this film contains the same photographed scene.
